Expand HOPE

Since 2011, Wentz Medical Center has cared for thousands of patients each year—far exceeding its original capacity and underscoring the urgent need for expansion.

As of September 2025, more than $5.2 million of the $11.5 million goal has been raised. The new seven-story hospital tower has reached the roofing stage. The expanded facility will include advanced diagnostic services, surgical suites, maternity care, and critical care units. Built through faith and partnership, this tower represents the next chapter in delivering whole-person healing to Uganda—and beyond.

Ground Breaking and Site Dedication.

Revised plans approved and permitted with gross budget of $11.5 M for optimised hospital operations to open in 2027. 

December 2024        

Inspired partners matched the challenge and raised $4.5M In cash and pledges.

 January 2025

Site taken over by the major Contractor - Canaan Construction Ltd. 

March 2025    

ExpandHope 2.0 launched to raise 7 Million dollars to finish well and open the hospital.
